About the Roger Albert Clark Rally

The Roger Albert Clark (RAC) Rally is the longest and toughest special stage rally in the UK. It covers around 330 special stage miles, mainly in the forests of England, Scotland and Wales.
It celebrates a golden era of rallying, notably the original RAC rallies of the 1960s 70s and 80s and celebrates the life of one of Britain's finest rally drivers, Roger Clark.
The event has run 15 times and now runs every other year. This year's event will start in Carmarthen on Thursday, November 20 and finish in Carlisle on Monday, November 24.
Pembrey Circuit to Star
On Thursday 20 Nov, the event will visit the Pembrey circuit in South Wales for two special stages and a service area with easy access for fans, excellent facilities and a chance to see the cars, both in action and in the service area.
The star studded entry features some of the biggest names in UK rallying, including former British Rally champions Osian Pryce from Machynlleth, Matt Edwards from Llandudno and Mark Higgins from Newtown in a Triumph TR7 V8. Seb Perez in the glorious Lancia Stratos is another crowd pleaser.
Pembrey will be a perfect location for spectators wanting to see the event.
Event Highlights
Up to 200 competitors will start the rally, making it the biggest entry on a special stage rally for many years. The event attracts competitors from all over the UK and Europe, as well as further afield, with some participants coming from Australia, America and Hong Kong. The focus is on historic cars running right through to the 1980s. In addition, there is an Open Rally which is accessible to all current two wheel drive rally cars.
