Roger Albert Clark Rally Honours Dai Roberts with Named Pembrey Stages

Pembrey Circuit is deeply honoured that the 2024 Roger Albert Clark Rally has chosen to name both of its Pembrey stages Dai Roberts Pembrey 1 and Dai Roberts Pembrey 2, paying special tribute to Carmarthen co-driver Dai Roberts, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Dai was a much-loved figure in the Welsh motorsport community, being highly respected.

A Fitting Tribute on Rally Weekend

Adding to the poignancy of the moment, Dai’s father Mike Roberts will be taking part in the event, proudly carrying car number 23, the very number Dai used when he competed in the 2023 Roger Albert Clark Rally.

Pembrey Stage Timings & Route Information

This year’s visit to Pembrey will see crews take on two challenging gravel stages within the circuit complex: • Dai Roberts Pembrey 1 - First car due at approximately 12:46 • Dai Roberts Pembrey 2 - First care due at approximately 13:06

The Pembrey stages will utilise a mix of fast, flowing perimeter roads, infield gravel sections and the circuit’s technical rally loops. Spectators can expect a dynamic stage that showcases the full variety of terrain. Fans can enjoy the spirit of the spectator stages of Rally GB events of old with rally goers getting the chance to see the cars on multiple occasions in action and close-up in the bustling service park.

Viewing areas around the stage have been arranged to give fans safe and exciting vantage points.

Spectator Information

Pembrey Circuit gates will open at 10:00am, giving visitors ample time to park, make their way to viewing zones and enjoy the build-up as cars arrive and prepare for the first stage.

On-site facilities including catering, toilets and spectator areas will be open throughout the day. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure good viewing positions and take in the atmosphere as the event makes its highly anticipated return to Wales.
