Convoy Cymru rolls into Pembrey

Pembrey Circuit is gearing up for one of its biggest weekends of the year as Convoy Cymru rolls into South Wales this weekend, bringing the British Truck Racing Championship, Pickup Truck Racing Championship and BARC Championships to the Home of Welsh Motorsport.

Taking place this weekend (20-21 June), the event will deliver two packed days of racing, entertainment and family attractions, with the heavyweight machinery of the BTRC leading the on-track bill. Advance adult tickets start from £22 (£25 on the day), with children aged 12 and under admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

The British Truck Racing Championship arrives at Pembrey with battles building across both Division 1 and Division 2. Division 1 has already produced six different race winners this season, with former champion David Jenkins leading the way thanks to his early-season consistency. Behind him, a hungry chasing pack will be looking to close the gap as the championship makes its annual visit to Wales.

In Division 2, reigning champion Jake Evans is still chasing his first podium of the campaign, while rival Callum Eason heads to Pembrey buoyed by a return to the winners’ circle last time out at Thruxton. With multiple races across the weekend, there will be plenty of points on offer and no shortage of wheel-to-wheel action.

The Pickup Truck Racing Championship also reaches the halfway point of its 2026 season at Pembrey, with just 11 points covering the top three in the standings. Allen Cooper and Dale Gent arrive level on points at the top, while multiple race winner Aaron Thompson remains firmly in contention.

Alongside the headline truck racing, fans can look forward to a busy support package featuring the Civic Cup, Junior Saloon Car Championship, MINI CHALLENGE Trophy, MINI CHALLENGE Clubsport, Audi Cup and Track Action, keeping the circuit active throughout the weekend.

Away from the racing, Convoy Cymru will offer a full festival-style line-up for families and visitors of all ages. The off-track entertainment includes show truck displays, monster truck rides, tractor pulling, fairground rides, ATV Stunts, the Bike Battle Stunt Show, Wrestling, Live music from The Bar Hounds, Bus rides around the circuit, Transformers characters, food and drink stalls, plus the paddock’s F1 Restaurant open across the weekend.

With big grids, close title battles and a packed entertainment schedule, Convoy Cymru is set to be a standout weekend at Pembrey Circuit.

Tickets are available in advance, with camping also available for those looking to make a full weekend of it.
