BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship heads to Pembrey for double-header

15 May 19

The Autosport International BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship in partnership with Toyo Tires heads to Pembrey Circuit this weekend (May 18/19).

Marking the first rally cross action of the season at the Welsh venue, the BTRDA contingent will be making the first of two visits to Pembrey - with the second visit taking place on August 10/11.

Coming off the back of a blockbuster season-opener at Blyton Park in late March, a unique double-header will be played out over the course of the weekend for Rounds 2 & 3 around the venue’s newly improved layout.

Leading the entry list for the weekend is the reigning BTRDA Rallycross champion and the youngest-ever winner in the series, Luke Constantine. One of the star attractions on the Toyo Tires Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship package, Constantine will kick off his BTRDA campaign here at Pembrey.

Those in attendance are in for a treat, with a feast of sideways thrills and spills likely to set pulses racing across both days. The HT Installation Clubman 4x4 category will likely be the headline act as the likes of Tommy Graham, Derrick Jobb and Simon Horton, plus many more, battle it out for supremacy.

Fans of Subaru Impreza’s will be well catered for the in Flitspeed Production 4x4 whilst there will be plenty of close-quarter racing from the AS Performance SuperModified, Funk Motorsport Production and SG Trailer Hire Classic categories.

The next generation of rallycross stars will also be in action during the weekend too in the Questmead Ltd/710 Oils Junior’s.

If you have never seen rally cross before then make sure you head to Pembrey this weekend and buckle up, because it is set to be a spectacle the likes of which you have never seen before.
